Great week of growing here, lots of beautiful vegetables coming out of
the fields! We are eating like kings and queens. Believe that you are
too. Fall greens are starting to creep in, you'll see Asian greens mix
and lettuce in the share this week.
Here's a great looking recipe for Southern Squash fritters, courtesy
Donna Gibson! Hope you can make use of it. We have been doing as
little cooking as possible, and have instead been chopping things,
tossing them with other things, and eating them. Simple and delicious.
When fall really rolls around we'll have the heart to do more involved
cooking, but until then, simple reigns supreme.
We've been hearing feedback that people are sometimes feeling
overwhelmed with their produce -- this is unnecessary stress! The free
choice model is intended to allow you as members to take the perfect
amount for the week for your household.
